“To set base for higher level academic understanding and research in Gandhian Studies and Development Studies with the aim of contributing to global peace and sustainable development, through the expertise of a team of scholars with diverse disciplinary backgrounds and the employment of interdisciplinary tools and methods.”

Mission

• Promoting social, political, economic and environmental justice through various academic interventions and extension activities.
• Fostering innovation, equity, and sustainability through an integrated and inclusive approach to learning and research in Gandhian Studies and Development Studies.
• Facilitating knowledge-sharing among institutions of higher learning around the world to advance global learning and research, through academic collaborations.
• Aiding production and free flow of ideas and knowledge through organizing academic events, and various publishing endeavours.
